A Family Trip

Hello there, fellow bloggers!

Whew! We've had a busy week. We took a trip to the river over the weekend (I'll get to that in a second), started choir up again (awesome!), and moved my stuff into the upstairs room (which is now my bedroom).

Okay, I'll start with the trip.

I got to take lots of photos on our mini-vacation, and I'm going to share some of them with you now.  I hope you like them!

This time we got to bring our dogs, Barney (shown here), and Cisco (shown below) in the car to the house.

Ciscobob! :)

This is the view from the house. The river, mountains, everything. I think that was my favorite part of the trip. It was so beautiful!

To me, the water looked really warm! I mean, it's greeny/blueish, that means warm, right? Um, no. It was cold. Very, very cold. Melted snow cold.

Looking a bit farther down river here...

My dad likes watching animals, and was a bit disappointed about not seeing any wildlife (other then some stray birds). Sorry about the weird light, the sun was right in the lens.

Willow cosplayed as Clara (from a yet-to-be-aired-episode of Doctor Who) in Flatline. You can check out some of those photos here, on our cosplay website.

There was this horse that just appeared right outside our fence. It was kind of odd, but I took the opportunity to get a picture.

Okay, finally to the river photos...

Up river it looked much more calm then farther down, like in the next few photos...

Goodbye, freezing river!

Some posts should be coming soon, mostly about my move, and drawing I did of Thorin. I'm almost done with it! Well, comment and tell me what you think, and, as always, have a good one! :)

Sincerely,
Darrion

  1. The river is beautiful! We don't have any rivers really close to us, but we do have a creek in our woods. :-)

    1. Yes, it was really pretty. We live more in the city, so I don't get to see much of that sort of thing often. Ooo, a creek? That's so cool! I bet you can get some awesome pictures there.

    1. Thanks, Sarah! I used the camera Willow and I have, the Cannon Rebel T3. One of the reasons we got the camera is for quality. Glad you liked the photos :) Are you into photography?

    2. I'm into it somewhat. I have Fuji-film camera and it's about the size a a pocket. Not too big. But I can take it with me in my pocket and I do like taking pictures of my family vacations, trips, camp trips, and friends. And anything else I don't want to forget about:) Basically everything I put on my blog:) Except of course the picture from the internet that I 'borrow';)
