I'm back!

Hey everyone!

It's me again, that girl who never posts on her blog anymore :)

   Actually, I do post. Every Wednesday, in fact. Except it's another blog completely. The Call is a story blog my sister (Willow) and I write our stories on.

   You've heard me talk about my book, The Watchmen Files. Well, I finished it! Yes, my first completed book ever. It was very fun to write :) You can read it here, if you haven't already.

   Willow and I started a website, too. It's for cosplay (costumes from movies/books/whatever) and fanart (art by fans). Click here if you'd like to see our stuff!

   Also, you may have noticed the new look. That's me (in chibis form!) in the middle of the header, by the way.

   And why the drawing and sudden up-date? Well, I'm sorta converting this blog to a place to post my artsy stuff.

   But what sort of stuff do I mean by artsy? I'm talking drawings, watercolors, adorable little chibis (which is a certain type of drawing style, like manga, but cuter) characters, and photos I've taken (most of them are edited to improve their quality).

Basically, like this!

This is chibis (pronounced chee-bees). Well, at least the little guy is. That's my hand, by the way. He's actually a character from my book, Mason Kruger. Normally he isn't so sweet, though.

This is little Fili and Kili. Eating cookies. 'Nuff said.

And this is what I mean by my photos. These ones have less color than I would normally do, but you get the picture (excuse the pun).

Yep! So, if you like that sort of thing, stick around for more in the future! I'll be posting more often than I use to. Promise ;)

The Christmas Update

Hey guys!

Super long time, no posts!

    So, quick update, I've been writing my book series, The Watchmen Files for the last I don't even know how long. Right now, I just finished chapter ten and am working on chapter eleven.

   But, enough of that. Back to the update.

   Christmas! I hope you all had a good one. I sure did! Let's do a recap...

Oh, and a quick note: Willow and I shared the expense and bought a Cannon camera. So a bunch of these pictures are taken from the new camera.

This is our tree! And the gifts, of course.

And here are a couple of things I got...

This is a pen that looks like a sword (Bilbo's sword) from The Hobbit called Sting, and a Bilbo bookmark.

Sorry about the fuzzy picture, but this is a T.A.R.D.I.S. necklace (it's a Doctor Who thing) from a store called Hot Topic.

The Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. I just love this one :)

Oh, I will :)

And Ammelia (she's a also on Blogger and writes on our (Willow shares it with me) blog The Call) made these gloves for me (minus the flower). They're so warm and fuzzy :)

And The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Chronicles: Art & Design book (hardcover)! Not as good as the Unexpected Journey art book, but still good :)

And another Hobbit gift, Thorin's key (the key to Erebor) necklace. I wear it proudly!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is going to Grandma's Christmas Eve and opening some presents there (oh, and did I mention the awesomely delicious food?). This is her (perfectly color coordinated) tree. She also has a very tidy house.

This is an ornament on her tree. It says God Jul, which, in Danish, means Merry Christmas.

Grandma has a good friend who is an awesome painter, and she does Christmas ornaments for her. This is one of them. Grandma really likes humming birds :)

I've had this elephant ornament for quite a long time, since I was a little kid. It has survived one or two tree fallings.

My New Book

Dear readers,

   Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. Summer flies by, doesn't it?

    And I've been writing my book, which you can read the first chapter of on The Call. It's called The Watchmen Files. I'm very excited to write it :) You know, secret agents, Hydra, etc. You can read it here.

    Just wanted to give you that quick update :)

Les Mis And Me

Dear readers,


   I know what some of you are thinking. Ugh, Les Mis?! She's gone to the crazy crying fandom too?!

 

   Yes, I have, minis the crying part. I am now officially heartless. Yes, much against the popular reaction, I did not shed a single tear. Like, at all. Through the entire movie. Everyone says it's a tear jerker, but I didn't cry, so... yeah. But it is very sad either way.

   Willow cried at the end, but that's expected. She always cries in movies :) I never seem to, though...

   One of the reasons I like this movie so much is because of the songs they sing. I just love them! My favorites are 'Do You Hear The People Sing?', 'Paris/Look Down', 'The Confrontation', 'One Day More', 'On My Own', 'Stars', 'Drink With Me', and 'Bring Him Home'. Love love love.

   Oh, and we watched it on Clearplay, a DVD filter that took out a lot of bad stuff that was in there.

   So, I hope someone out there understood all that. If you did, please tell me! I'd like to post about the funnies and the feels, but if no one gets it, that won't do much good, will it? 

   I'd also like to post about other things, like little Fili and Kili, The Piano Guys, etc. But what do you think about me telling you about how I got into all these fandoms in the first place? Am I a fangirl? Why not? Then what am I? Those types of things. Feed back is very helpful, thanks :)
